Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership

The Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP) brings together several key agencies in Manchester who are working together to tackle crime and disorder across the city.

Part of this is the Crime and Disorder Team, a multi-agency team based in the Town Hall, including members from Manchester City Council, National Probation Service and Greater Manchester Police. The team supports the overall work of the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership, through ensuring that its work is undertaken and carried out to the satisfaction of the partnership at large and is consistent with the strategic priorities that the partnership is working to achieve.

The team represents the vast array of work undertaken to a number of groups, including the Executive Partnership Group, which oversees the work of the partnership, the Sub-Divisional Partnerships and Local Action Partnerships.

You can find out more about the work of the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership on the Manchester City Council website.

GMP Policing Pledge

Greater Manchester Police has published its Policing Pledge, which sets out the standard of service you can expect to receive from the force. It also covers things such as ensuring monthly meetings take place in local areas so that the Police can find out what matters to you and act on it as well as making it clear to residents who their local officers are.
