The role of the Work and Skills Partnership is to support the delivery of the City's aspirations for economic growth and reduced levels of unemployment. In particular it has focused on tackling worklessness in Manchester's most deprived communities.
Terms of Reference of the Partnership
In addition to its responsibilities for economic growth, employment and skills, the Culture and the Transport thematic partnerships engage with a wider group of stakeholders in delivering the Community Strategy. They connect to the Manchester Partnership principally through the Work and Skills Partnership.
