 COMMUNITY VOICES ROADSHOWS

Agenda 2010 Community Voices Roadshows were an opportunity for residents to learn about the work of Agenda 2010 which is a multi-agency partnership promoting and improving race equality across Manchester. Currently the four main themes relate to Education, Employment, Health & Social Care and Crime & Disorder, although there is a review underway to extend the areas to cater for themes relating to Culture, Sustainable Communities and Transport.

It proved to be an opportunity for family, friends and neighbours to find out about the future priorities of Agenda 2010 and also to have fun.

Four Roadshows were held:

Thursday 7th June at The Waterloo Centre, 389 Waterloo Road, Cheetham Hill, M8 9AB

Thursday 14th June at Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse, 140 Raby Street, M 14 4ST

Wednesday 20th June at  Longsight Library, 519 Stockport Road, Longsight, M12 4NE

Thursday 28th June at  Wythenshawe Forum Trust, Forum Square, Manchester M22 5RX
